Liam is an avid Liverpool FC supporter and when pushed to use his vacation days, enjoys visiting new places around the world. Liam keeps active through regular football games and exploring the countryside on long runs. He also tries to play golf, although admits, still quite badly.

History & Experience

Liam joined DS2 in 2014 from Ballymore, where he worked in the Planning & Development Department specialising in feasibility and viability appraisals, as well as working on disposal and acquisition projects. He gained valuable experience in other aspects of the development process such as Planning, Construction and Sales. He was actively involved in a number of large residential schemes such as Embassy Gardens, West Hampstead, Royal Wharf, London City Island & Wardian.

Key Projects

Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre, Southwark – Delancey

Viability and affordable housing advice provided in support of the Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre planning application for a residential led mixed-use scheme providing 979 Build to Rent homes across two phases. Also actively involved in the S106 negotiations including the structure of the viability review mechanisms.

Sampson & Ludgate House, Southwark – Native Land (Viability Review)

As part of the S106 agreement an updated viability assessment was required in order to assess whether the viability of the development had improved since the date of the signing of the S106 agreement.

Northumberland Development Project, Haringey – Tottenham Hotspur Football Club Limited

Financial Viability Assessment and affordable housing advice to support a planning application for the provision of the redevelopment of the stadium, hotel, Tottenham Experience, sports centre, community and/or offices, health centre and 585 residential units.

Bishopsgate Goods Yard, Tower Hamlets & Hackney – Bishopsgate Goodsyard Regeneration Limited

Financial Viability Assessment and affordable housing advice to support a planning application on a major central London regeneration site. The mixed use development will provide over 1,350 residential units, c.175, 000 sq ft of retail space and c.771, 000 sq ft of office space.

Kingsland Road, Hackney – Pause Living

Viability and affordable housing advice provided in support of the planning application for a 121 room co-living scheme. The main challenge in this project was valuing the co-living component in light of their being a distinct lack of comparable evidence.

Capital House, Southwark – Greystar

Viability, affordable housing advice and affordable housing off-site search provided in support of a 905-bed student accommodation scheme.
